It's been a couple of years since I've dined here so was excited to return for a friend's 50th birthday. First thought that comes to mind...I think the entertainment quality has maybe gone down a bit, but it could also be that it was a Wednesday night and the restaurant energy overall felt low. I remember being energized and mesmerized the first couple of times I've been here, but the performances overall felt much more subdued. What I did enjoy about the performance was the live singing of Lucky Be a Lady with the Fountain show. It was quite beautiful, but I recall the performers being a bit more interactive with the audience overall a couple years ago, even right after Covid. Second thought...the sommelier was awesome! He did a great job of making sure our glasses weren't empty with the two bottles of wine we ordered, and was quite personable and engaged in conversation with our table. He even took a water shot with us while we took out lemon drop shots. Third thought....the timing of the entrees being delivered felt a bit off. We weren't even done with our Heirloom Tomato appetizer, and here came our entrees and side of Spinach. The timing felt awkward because at the same time our entree was already on the table, the busser was trying to take away our bread and appetizer plate/utensils while also resetting the table with entree utensils and sharing plates, so it created for an awkward moment. As for the quality of the food, the steak was cooked perfectly at a Medium temp and branzino was also good (a bit fishy), but in a very competitive fine dining market on the Strip, I can't say it was necessarily anything memorable, both from a presentation standpoint or flavor. Lastly, we ordered a couple of desserts including the Cigar which is their signature dessert, and the presentation definitely has a wow factor as it comes to your table under a smoked glass dome, but the taste of the dessert was unfortunately not good. This literally tasted and smelled like a cigar ashtray, and after a bite of the cigar filled with what I think was raspberry compote and a scoop of the mousse, all of us were over it. The part I found fascinating is I'm not a smoker, so expected I would hate the smell and taste of the cigar (which I do), but even my two friends who smoke did not like it. The Black Forest cake was good, but a bit dry. The chocolate triangle on top was incredible. Funny part is the soft served ice cream for the birthday girl was the best of the desserts, and we all know that was poured out of a machine! Overall, the venue is aesthetically gorgeous and I understand people pay for the ambiance/experience and view of the fountain show here, but felt there's some opportunity to improve the quality of the food and consistency of service, especially for the prices being charged.
Their summer menu was spectacular! It's a pre set menu that includes salad, entree, and dessert! The service was great! We never had an empty water cup or cocktail! Woo hoo! Viva Las Vegas! lol The ambiance was beautiful, loved the bellagio water thru the windows, while we had an interactive dinner! Awesome spot!!
Our group of 6 had a great time at Mayfair on a recent Saturday early evening. We didn't realize it when we booked, but this included a terrific price for wines, which combined with the terrific food, nice atmosphere, and entertaining show, make this a very good deal (and you can see the Bellagio water show while you're there!). Our server was top notch-very professional-as was her assistant. The wedge salad was very good-either chopped or whole. Filet Oscar was really something-very large filet with a giant portion of crab and sauces on top. Branzino was perfectly cooked and full of flavor-great seasoning and sauces on every dish here! The show was a mix of cabaret and classic supper club-musicians, singers, dancers were all excellent and memorable.
This place is AMAZING! Highly recommended! I have been there twice, and had a great time, both times! The Ambiance is beautiful! Even the bar is nice to sit at. The performers are very talented and work a small space perfectly. The food is yummy, and very generous, so sharing is a must! The service is also impeccable! They really live up to the Vegas supper club hype! Definitely go!
The Mayfair Supper Club is one of Vegas' popular restaurants that offer dinner with a show. My husband made a reservation ahead of time to secure our spot on a Saturday evening. [Ambiance] lively, elegant, and fun. We had a direct center stage view which included the windows facing Bellagio's water show. * Complimentary freshly baked bread - served straight out of the oven with butter. Yummm * Spicy Tuna Roll - decent quality. * Tuna Tartare - my favorite dish of the night. Fresh fish served with a delicious sauce and crispy chips. * Branzino - not a fan of how they served this dish. The soggy skin was unappetizing and unappealing. I also didn't care for the way they seasoned it. * Pureed Potatoes - rich and buttery. I didn't like this too much. * Mushrooms - too salty and buttery. * Chocolate Cake - I didn't like it, but I think I was too full to enjoy it. [Service] our server did a decent job. He didn't seem too enthusiastic and he was slow with everything (taking our orders, drink refills, getting the check). Not sure if this is encouraged due to the nature of the situation (live show), but it felt like they were possibly under staffed. Overall: 4 stars. I only enjoyed a couple of food items, but my drink (Riesling) was delicious and the performers delivered a great show. The singers and musicians were amazing. We had a great time!
This was by far the most amazing and fabulous dinner experience I've ever had on the Las Vegas Strip. Came here this past weekend for my cousin's birthday dinner. For a party of 6, the majority of us was our first time experiencing a dinner like this, Mayfair Supper Club did not disappoint as the fine dining paired with live entertainment, a mix of Moulin Rouge, burlesque style, live singing, piano playing, and extremely risqué choreography! I have been lucky to always have the opportunity to visit Vegas mostly on business and been here numerous times on leisure too. Extremely important to get a scenic view of Bellagio's water fountain, which I've seen numerous times either driving up and down Las Vegas Boulevard or by foot. Since you are being treated with a fine dining experience, the only time you can watch a server prepare your dessert was table side, also you can volunteer to sing along with one of the entertainers, neither any of us on our table was willing to compete with any of these professionals as they went from one number to another production making your night mesmerized as you're treated with all types of performances. I do enjoy a good steak, but that night I wasn't in the mood for it. Seafood was earlier that day for lunch, instead me and my cousin was very interested in Pork Chops. Food Presentation, sequence of appetizers then onto entrees, then to dessert and to top it all off was a beautiful birthday cake presented to the birthday boy at the end of our dinner. To see these acts, and enjoy exceptional service happens very rarely combined in one sitting, as you can also see the attention to detail to every moment of the evening to how the plate should be presented, incredible . It's highly recommended to make your reservation way in advance as I believe Mayfair has been in business for about a year now. The menu is very extensive, wine list on another menu, leaving you undecided when browsing the entrees, but you can always ask your server what is the restaurant's most popular items. Couple few other things, if you are staying on the strip, it's best to either walk from your hotel, utilize the monorail/tram if staying at a nearby MGM Property, and avoid valet or self park as majority of the hotels charge an arm and a leg unless you're holding an elite status at your favorite gaming casino. You'll easily locate the restaurant as its center of the casino floor. This is one restaurant I will never forget and would love to visit another time around on another special occasion or just a special night out.
Man oh man, this place is amazing! Live entertainment and great food. What more can you ask for? My boyfriend and I decided to try this restaurant out for dinner since it's been on our list. We realized that this place was participating for restaurant week and we were excited to try it. We both decided to get what was on the restaurant week menu which was 100 per person along with the wine pairing that had which was another additional 50 per person. It was a 4 course meal and we decided to try... - amuse bouche (starter) - wonton soup (starter) - ora king salmon (entree) - New York steak (entree) - truffle pasta - chocolate cigar for dessert and cream pie. The amuse bouche starter was amazing! It's an oyster with caviar and yuzu jelly. This had so much flavor and it caught us both off guard. The wonton soup is made up of wagyu meat which I found to be alright. Wish I got the Cesar salad instead. The entrees though, were incredible! The steak and salmon weren't dry and they were regular portions too. Love how the restaurant serves you regular portions instead of sampler size for your main entrees. We also were very interested in trying the truffle pasta side. *chefs kiss* Everything was so good. Love the entertainment too. The singers were singing some old songs and some new generation songs. Plus they were interacting with the audience as well. They also knew it was our anniversary dinner so they took a Polaroid picture of us to keep. Will come back here again! definitely want to try their late night experience on the weekend. Poo
